Hayato
The story is set in an alternate history: the Japanese Heian period with a Steampunk twist. Hayato is the heir to the Ayanokoji aristocratic house. Since he was a child, he has studied literature, manners, performance, and martial arts. Hayato often feels suffocated by his family's expectations, despite being a rational individual who values honor and reputation.
